Studio Hardie were commissioned to design and realise the Observatory on George Clarke's Amazing Spaces, for Channel 4. The Observatory is a Jules Verne inspired, Victorian Luna Lander, created in homage to George's father. The working telescope was made from curtain poles, plywood and even bike tyres, through it Jupiter's moons can be seen.
